Motivation And Self Confidence Are The Keys To Your Success
Motivation And Self Confidence – The Keys To Your Success
Keeping ourselves always motivated is a struggle — our drive is constantly hammered by negative thoughts and anxiety about the future. Everybody faces doubt and depression. What separates the highly successful is the ability to keep moving forward Regardless.
Who says there is a simple solution for a lack of motivation?. Even after over running it, the demon deems to reappear at the first sign of failure. The key solution is understanding your thoughts and how they drive your emotions.
By learning how to nurture motivational thoughts, neutralizing negative ones, and focus on the task at hand, you can pull yourself out of the slump before it gains any momentum.
Why We Lose Motivation?
The 3 main reasons we lose motivation.
- Multiple failures – Many people are not of those lucky doods who got lucky enough and made it from the first shot.
- Lack of confidence – If you don’t believe you can succeed, what’s the point in initiating anything?
- Lack of focus – If you don’t know what you want, then what is it that you’ll be after?
- Lack of direction – If you don’t know what to do, how can you be motivated to do it?
Ways To Boost Your Confidence
The #1 motivation suppressor is the lack of confidence. It happened to me many times, and that is due to the fact that I was focusing entirely on what I want and neglecting what I already have.
When all you think about is what you want, your mind starts creating explanations for why you aren’t getting such. This inject you with negative thoughts. Past failures, bad breaks, and personal weaknesses dominate your mind.
You become jealous of the other person and start making excuses for why you can’t succeed. In this state, you tend to make a bad impression, assume the worst about others, and in the process lose self confidence.
The way to get out of this self destructive pattern is to focus on gratitude. Set aside time to focus on everything positive you’ve done in your life. Make a mental list of your strengths, past successes, current advantages and the things you have that many others don’t have.
It is very sad that in many times We take our strengths for granted and dwell on our failures. By making any effort to feel grateful, you’ll immediately realize how competent and successful you already are. This will reassure your confidence and get you motivated to build on your current success.
While It might sound strange that repeating things you already know can improve your mindset, but it’s astonishingly effective. Our minds sometimes tends to distorts reality to confirm what it wants to believe. The more negatively you think, the more demons your mind will extract to confirm that belief.
Once you truly start to believe in yourself and that you deserve success, your mind will generate ways to accomplish it. The best way to bring success to yourself is to genuinely desire to create something with value for the rest of the world.
How To Develop Meaningful Focus
Lack of focus is the second motivation killer. How often do you focus on what you don’t want, rather than on a real goal? We routinely think in terms of fear.
- I’m afraid of being poor.
- I’m afraid no one will respect me.
- I’m afraid of being alone.
The problem with this type of thinking is that fear alone isn’t actionable. Instead of doing something about our fear, it feeds on itself and dries out our motivation.
If you find yourself sucked in fear spiced thinking, the first step is focusing that energy on a well defined goal. By defining a goal, you automatically define a series of actions. If you have a fear of poverty, come up with a plan to increase your income. This could be anything from going back to school, finding a higher paying job, or developing a profitable website. The key is moving from an intangible desire to concrete, measurable moves.
By setting your mind on a positive goal instead of an unknown fear, you put your brain to work. Immediately it begins devising a plan for success. Now Instead of worrying about the future you start to do something about it. This is the first step in motivating yourself to take action. When pinpointing what your desires, you become motivated to take the right actions.
Developing The Right Direction
Our final piece in the motivational puzzle is “the right direction“. If focus means achieving the ultimate goal, direction is having a day-to-day strategy to achieve it.
Lack of direction kills motivation because without an obvious next action we succumb to procrastination, just like the one who wants to have a hot blog, but who spends more time reading articles about blogging than actually writing ones.
To find the right direction is to identify the right activities that lead to success. For every goal, there are activities that pay off and those that don’t. Try to make a list of all your activities and arrange them based on results. Then make a make an action plan that focuses on the activities that lead to better returns. Keeping track of your most important tasks will concentrate your energy into a successful path.
Hope this was of grate help to you, think positive, it’s not going to cost you anything to do so, why is the negativity when there is all the positive things in the world?. I know you’ll make it, I had my shares of the ups and downs but I managed to pull it and want you jump on the same train I road.
